COVID-19 Contest update.
On behalf of all the team at Galeria Moderna, we hope that you are keeping safe and well during these unsettling times.
Following the advice of Public Health England, we have taken the following decisions to ensure that the show goes on whilst prioritising the safety and well-being of all our artists and the wider population.
In light of the COVID- 19 epidemic and steps that need to be taken to combat it, we have made the following changes to the structure and time scales of the contest:
∙ We have extended the closing submission deadline until 29th May
∙ Judging will now take place in the month of June.
∙ The winners will be announced on the 10th July and the winning artworks will be showcased on our website and Instagram until the Awards evening
∙ After discussions with our associated partners and patrons including Castle Fine Art, the awards evening and exhibition will now be postponed until later in the year when Public Health England confirms it is safe to do so and London’s art district is once again buzzing with art lovers.
